MY APPROACH
Most learning requests come to me as solutions: “We need a course on this.” My first move is always to slow down and ask what success looks like. Sometimes training is the answer. Sometimes it isn’t. Either way, I’d rather spend time finding the real problem than build something polished that doesn’t actually help anyone or actually matter.
A decade of that work has shaped a philosophy rooted in clarity, relevance, and practical application — and what I care about most is the moment something clicks for a learner — when a frontline supervisor walks away from a program feeling more capable than when they walked in. That’s the work. Everything else is just how we get there.
